Whitemanfrtown So what's the scoop, Popeye? See anything good?
Im going to the east coast in Oct and will be scouting around myself during that time.
Btw - general update is still no web site or home page but Im working on getting someone to assist. Meanwhile I continue my research and finance handling.
Kudos to wurdsmiff's site - good stuff.
sailormanWe got to visit 4 including the folly we found in MD. Hammonds Castle in Glouster is the best and once there, I realized I had been there many years ago. They need to do some severe tree trimming. Castle in the Clouds was a nice large eclectric house but no castle. Found Baker Castle (may have the name wrong) near Lake Winapasakie(sp) in NH. New owner is in the middle of doing significant land clearing and many of the windows were boarded up with plywood. Were warned it was all private so only viewed it from part way up the driveway. Got a bunch of pictures but a severe storm (six inches of rain in 1 hour) wiped out my network card and router, also flooded my basement while we were gone.
Whitemanfrtown Sorry to hear about your soggy photos.
